A nexus letter is a medical opinion written by a licensed healthcare provider that establishes a connection between a veteran's current medical condition and their military service. The VA requires three elements for service connection: a current diagnosis, evidence of an in-service event or injury, and a medical link between the two. A nexus letter addresses that third requirement by providing professional medical reasoning that supports the service connection.
All nexus letters are authored and signed by licensed Medical Doctors (MDs). Our team also includes Physician Assistants (PAs) and Licensed Clinical Psychologists who collaborate on complex cases.
